The King’s Theatre & Theatre Royal offers three placements per term for young people and students to gain experience of working life in the commercial theatre sector.

We then invite all applicants in for a very informal interview and allocate the places.
If you are a student at University or College we ask that you include a short project proposal with your email that will be of benefit to both yourself and the theatre.
Please note that we are a receiving venue and we do not have the following departments in-house: costume, make-up, production or stage management. If you are interested in gaining experience in those areas, you will need to contact a producing theatre.
