• help participants to recognise and value each other’s personal differences

• give participants an opportunity to reflect on the impact that they can have on other people just by ‘being themselves’• help participants to communicate more effectively with each other

• help participants to develop and/or to enhance their existing working relationships

• help participants to work more effectively together.
