Richmond Theatre offer an exciting range of participatory activities for those age five and upwards. All are led by experienced theatre professionals and lead to performances on the beautiful Richmond Theatre stage and beyond!

Mini Musical Theatre Group: For 5-8 yr olds, Saturdays 9.15 am – 10.15 am

Musical Theatre Group: For 8-15 yr olds, Saturdays 10.30 am – 12.30 pm

Youth Theatre – Stage 1: For 8-11 yr olds, Mondays 4.15 pm – 5.50 pm

Youth Theatre – Stage 2: For 12-14 yr olds, Wednesdays 4.15 pm – 5.50 pm

Young Actors Company: For 18-30 yr olds, Saturdays 10.30 am – 12.30 pm

Adult Singing Group: For 18+ yrs, Saturdays

Each week our mini musical theatre group play lots of fun drama games and learn songs and dance routines to popular musical hits. Creative and imaginative, these sessions are designed to help grow confidence and self-esteem while participants make new friends and have loads of fun!

£95 per term.

Musical Theatre Group: For 8-15 yr olds, Saturdays 10.30 am – 12.30 pm

Does your child love acting, singing and dancing? Then this group is for them! Participants work on various drama scenes, popular stage songs and famous musical dance routines. This is a great group for participants to gain greater confidence and self-esteem while also making new friends and having loads of fun!

£150 per term.

Youth Theatre – Stage 1: For 8-11 yr olds, Mondays 4.15 pm – 5.50 pm

Does your child love acting? Do they want to learn more about all aspects of theatre from improvisation and devising to script work? Then Richmond Youth Theatre is for them!

The group learn a number of drama techniques through fun games and use these to create scripted or improvised and devised pieces. The class is a great opportunity to increase confidence in performance and gain lots of new skills, whilst making new friends and having fun.

£150 per term.

Youth Theatre – Stage 2: For 12-14 yr olds, Wednesdays 4.15 pm – 5.50 pm

Participants work with professional directors on full length plays and then perform these at Richmond Theatre and other exciting theatre spaces. Most recently the group performed “Mobile Phone Show”, by acclaimed playwright Jim Cartwright to sell out audiences at both Richmond Theatre and The Tabard Theatre, Chiswick. In November they will be performing ‘Shut Up’ by Andrew Payne at the New Wimbledon Theatre Studio.

This is a perfect group for those interested in theatre who want to learn more about performing and whose confidence and self-esteem notably increases through performing on stage.

£150 per term.

Young Actors Company: For 18-30 yr olds, Saturdays 10.30 am – 12.30 pm

In this group, participants explore all aspects of performance while focussing on a mixture of scripted and devised work.

The Young Company work towards performing a diverse range of full length plays on a regular basis. Most recently they performed “A Vampire Story” by the acclaimed Moira Buffini to sell out audiences at both Richmond Theatre and the Tabard Theatre, Chiswick and ‘Breathing Corpses’ by Laura Wade at the Tabard Theatre.

£80 per term.

Please note classes are held at Richmond Adult Community College, Parkshot, London, TW9 2RE.

Adult Singing Group: For 18+ yrs, Saturdays 10.30 am – 12.30 pm

For all those 18+ come and sing a range of songs, decided by the group, each Saturday. Make new local friends and sing over coffee, tea and biscuits (and sometimes even cake!). Whatever your experience come along and work towards performances in the local community.

£110 per term.
